Qualifying in 1984 from Kings College Hospital, London, Anya has over 40 years extensive and varied experience within the NHS, private hospitals and private clinics. Anya started her private clinic some 30 years ago to provide easy access to treatment for the growing demand for physiotherapy, particularly post-operatively and following sports injury. She has worked with international sports men and women, including Wasps Rugby Club, and was the Physiotherapist to the England Badminton Team for 5 years. Anya has built up enduring relationships and works closely with some of the leading Orthopaedic surgeons both in London and further afield, nationally and internationally. She regularly attends post-graduate seminars, conferences, and courses to further her knowledge of the profession she loves, and has lectured at British Olympic Committee Seminars.

Anya has been providing workstation advice to many companies over the past 15 years, including large companies in the oil, publishing, beauty and hotel sectors. She believes in a pro-active approach to the prevention of postural and repetitive injury in the workplace, and has also lectured to schoolchildren on the importance of regular exercise and posture whilst studying.
